aboriginal support

This program is guided by the Seven Sacred teachings and other traditional spiritual teachings.

  • Elder support, counseling and advise
  • Facilitate family violence and cultural awareness workshops in the community
  • Daily smudge and prayer
  • Provide tradional teachings
  • Elders perform and facilitate Aboriginal ceremonies and healing circles
  • Provide referrals to Elders and Aboriginal services

Reaching families experiencing abuse within the community

  • Assist in building healthy support structures & violence free lives
  • Provide basic needs, counseling, support, referrals, & advocacy
  • Offer spiritual & peer support, healing circles and Elder services

  • Providing Family Violence education to families & groups
  • Support and counseling to women & childern experiencing family violence
  • Services provided through partnerships with designated Community Resource Centers
